The Mayo Hotel is simply the classiest place to get married in Tulsa. As wedding DJs, we get to see all kinds of venues and people, and we have to say that the Mayo is by far one of our favorite places to DJ events in Tulsa.

The Mayo can host your wedding in their beautiful and spacious Grand Hall, where we can help you amplify the ceremony with our top-of-the-line JBL sound systems. We place great importance in ceremony sound, because, the more your guests can hear and be involved in the ceremony, the more they will be involved in the celebration at the reception. From there, we can take your guests to the 16th floor for cocktail hour, and when the time is right, enter into the Crystal Ballroom.

The Crystal Ballroom doesn’t need anything to look absolutely beautiful, but it is also the perfect canvas for uplighting, monograms, and pretty much any kind of event lighting you can imagine. In there, 300 guests can comfortably partake of some of the best catering in town. Their staff is friendly and very helpful, the view is breathtaking, and the elegance of this place would make any wedding or party an unforgettable one.

The Penthouse

Once the reception is over, and you are left with only your closest friends, take the party upstairs for the after-party of a lifetime. The Mayo Penthouse is one of the most popular bars in Tulsa. It offers a great atmosphere, a wide variety of drinks, the beauty and elegance of the Mayo, and one of the best views in downtown Tulsa. From time to time you will also find live music and DJs (such as ourselves). This is a great Tulsa venue to have birthday parties, corporate events, or to just go out with friends on a Friday night.

Hugo did a FABULOUS job for our wedding reception at the Mayo hotel. We received numerous compliments from our guests specifically about the DJ, the flow of the events during the reception, and the beautiful uplighting. Hugo worked with us beforehand giving dancing lessons and working out our planned activities and entrance. He interacted well with our guests, and did a great job reading the mood of the crowd. For one of the songs, he taught everyone a Columbian dance that got everyone out on the floor. During dinner we played a video slide show that we had not anticipated having sound. Hugo was able to react quickly, and add the audio without calling attention to the issue. He was extremely professional, included many of our requested songs, and had the experience to adjust music and adapt to the moment. Hugo is a wonderful DJ, very personable, adaptable and easy to work with. We enthusiastically recommend him for any event you might be planning 🙂
