2013 Best of Weddings Award from theknot.com

TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com have also awarded us with the “Best of Weddings” award this year. This is the first year that we actively pursue gathering reviews online, and our brides are so wonderful, that they took time to put in a good word for us. Thank you! It means a lot to see such demonstrations of gratitude. These Tulsa Disc Jockeys are fortunate to serve such wonderful families.

We do not advertise with the knot at the moment, so you won’t see as much info on our award as you will in weddingwire.com but we wanted to blog about it, as it may be helpful to some of you considering our services, to know that we get good reviews, even on websites where we don’t solicit them.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a review from our wedding wire profile. Lisa, mother of one of our brides, left a very sweet comment. She is the first MOB to leave us one, so I wanted to give her a permanent space on our blog.

We could not have dreamed of a better DJ for our event! We were able to relax and enjoy the reception as Hugo took control of the program and guided us through every step of the way. At one time he had the guestbook in hand going from table to table to make sure all our guests had been able to sign it. He danced with us on the floor and encouraged people to get out on the dance floor. Ours was an afternoon reception, so getting people to dance in the afternoon is a little harder. But he got everyone excited! He also took some last minute changes in stride and took requests from the floor. He also handled the music at our wedding ceremony! He genuinely cared that our wedding was special. Lionsroad goes “Above and Beyond!”
